I, Luonne Abram Rouse, ordained elder in The United Methodist Church and appointed to First Church Baldwin, United Methodist, and Marie (my spouse) share faith in Jesus Christ, Son of God, who grants grace and mercy by way of the divine love of God through communion in the Holy Spirit with you.

Luonne Abram Rouse




Rev. Dr. Luonne Abram Rouse (married to Marie L. Rouse) is an ordained minister with the United Methodist Church and a licensed marriage and family therapist in New York. He is an adjunct professor for family ministries and counseling specializing in teaching "Theories of Personality" and "Pastoral Care and Counseling".

With over 30 years’ experience as a pastoral counselor, Rev. Rouse has been most effective 
in addictions intervention. His assistance yielded the start-up and development of two therapeutic treatment centers in Greenville, South Carolina.

Dr. Rouse studied at South Carolina State College, earned his Masters of Divinity from 
ITC - Gammon Theological Seminary, including Studies at Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and a Doctor of Ministry from the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Columbia, South Carolina.

In 2003 Dr. Rouse located to Harlem, New York with the Metropolitan Community United Methodist Church where he developed Metro Health Ministries, a counseling and consultation service for Substance Abuse Intervention and Family Therapy.

Alice Wheeler

Alice Laurissa is a native New Yorker, born and raised in Queens.  She’s been playing the piano and singing since the age of seven. Alice Laurissa received her H.S. diploma from LaGuardia H.S. of Music and Arts and Performing Arts, as well as additional training from the Harlem School of the Arts in a Manhattan. She attended Howard University where she received a Bachelors of Music in Piano Performance and a Masters of Music in Jazz Vocal Performance. She was nurtured by many great musicians including Connaitre Miller, Grady Tate, Mr. Ramon Reeburg, and Dr. Raymond Jackson among others. In 2011 Alice opened Laurissa Jane Music Studio Inc. where her school offers in home music lessons for students in Washington DC and New York City. For the past five years Ms. Laurissa has successfully run a Summer Performing Arts Camp where children take classes in chorus, dance, and musical theater.  In July 2014 Alice released her album titled “Again” available on ITunes and Amazon.   Alice currently performs in various places in NYC. Ms. Laurissa’s musical experiences have lead her to meet many talented artists and travel a lot of places including, Los Angeles, Miami, Paris, Africa, among other places. Musical influences that have inspired Alice are Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Sarah Vaughn, Chopin, Beethoven, Bach, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Mary J. Blige, Alicia keys and more.
