Practices of a Fruitful Congregation

The main purpose of Pastor Rouse and Marie Rouse joining the First Church Baldwin United Methodist experience is to continue in the making of disciples of Jesus Christ. If you will build on this mission, then invite relatives friends, neighbors, committee members and significant others to share in our services. Let us in unity pray, attend worship, give generously, service people in the communities, and develop faith in Jesus Christ among people within and without our fruitful congregation.

Our members have a track record of servant ministries. And, we shall move onward with radical hospitality, intentional faith development, passionate worship, risk-taking mission and service, and extravagant generosity. How might we excel in effective ministries? You decide through our relationship one with the other, while we reach out to all and all are welcome to join our membership and fellowship.

We are extending our reach during the summer of 2016 and beyond by each bringing at least one more person to worship. Being generous in our services and gifts to our ministries, we shall strengthen this Body of Christ, here and now. As "Spiritual Champions", might we proclaim throughout the communities: "The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." (Mark 10:45)

We are the people of First Church Baldwin United Methodist with open hearts, open minds, and open doors. Come Sunday mornings brining people into our fruitful congregation.

Agape!
