A special part of Homecoming Sunday is recognizing members who have reached significant membership milestones. In worship on September 7, 2014 we celebrated our friends Karen Fitzgerald (40 years), Doris Donner (50 years), Jean Goodwin and Ray Kinch (60 years). Norma Collins, who passed away recently in her 50th year of membership, was remembered.
Bruce Lister was recognized for an extraordinary 80 years of faithful membership. Our District Superintendent, Rev. Adrienne Brewington, was with us to bring congratulations from the New York Annual Conference in a letter from Interim Bishop, Neil L. Irons. Bruce was also honored with a framed picture and testimonial that will be displayed permanently in our building.
