On April 4, 2014 our confirmation class attended the Nightwatch youth retreat at NYC's Cathedral of St. John the Divine, one of the five largest church buildings in the world. With about 70 other youth from as far away as Maine, they attended workshops, engaged in personal prayer and meditation, worshiped, and made new friends. Pastor Jim was invited to celebrate the midnight Eucharist for the group in the cathedral. Everyone slept (or, didn't) on the floor in the cathedral gymnasium.
